Our client is seeking a qualified person to work in its Quick Response Office Cell (QROC), which is a closed loop, multi-functional, cross-trained team that can complete all the processes needed for producing a product.  QROC Technical Lead will be responsible for interfacing with key company departments, QROC team members, customers, and vendors to support the execution of non-fabricated nuclear projects.

Responsibilities:

The Quick Response Office Cell (QROC) Technical Lead will:

  • Assist in the execution of the company’s non-fabrication scope of work with respect to job quoting, order processing, and shipping, while improving on time delivery metrics and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Take ownership of the company’s non-fabrication market segment and maintain the authority to execute the orders in the most efficient and expeditious manner possible.
  • Provide technical interpretations of customer and company drawings, request for quotes, and purchase order requirements.
  • Complete commercial and technical portions of job review checklists and travelers (work instructions).
  • Have the ability to learn and initiate nuclear commercial grade dedication plans.
  • Maintain responsibility for ensuring that the company’s Engineering department adequately reviews and approves company drawings associated with the QROC scope of work.
  • Provide a “peer check” function for certification packages that are completed by the QROC Quality Assurance Lead.
  • Evaluate incoming customer requests for quotes for material, components, or service requirements.
  • Report progress, needs, and challenges to management at a frequency to be determined by the QROC team and management.
  • Assist in the maintenance and distribution of a QROC performance metric to management.
  • Cross train with QROC purchasing and sales leads.
  • Review internal procedures and hold/attend training to maintain continual improvement.
  • Accomplish team goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the team’s performance.

Requirements:

  • College degree (preferably technical) or technical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
