The McLain Group represents a client, a leader in the commercial nuclear power industry, with an immediate need for a nuclear power plant Operations Instructor. The Operations Instructor works with line personnel to understand and analyze performance needs and recommends appropriate training solutions.

Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates training materials and programs using systematic approach to training.  Administers and coordinates training programs for sites and corporate groups as assigned.


Instructor Ops: 5 years of front line experience and technical proficiency in the area of instruction.

Instructor Sr, Ops: Must meet one of the following: 12 years commercial nuclear plant experience; An SRO license or certification; B.S. Degree in a related field and at least three years of nuclear training experience or at least three years’ experience teaching or developing curriculum in an education or academic environment.


Strongly Desired: B.S. Degree in engineering or related technical degree or equivalent or SRO license or certification on BWR, PWR or both.

Desired: SRO license or certification on BWR, PWR or both. Note: Licensed Operations instructors require an SRO license or certification.
